Mr. Karagiannidis has been involved in over 300 transactions involving emerging private and public companies with a total value in excess of $2 billion.  Prior to EMD Financial, Mr. Karagiannidis worked at Marquest Capital Markets, Industrial Alliance Securities and Desjardins Securities. Mr. Karagiannidis is an MBA graduate of the Ivey Business School (University of Western Ontario), LL.B from the University of Montréal and a member of the Québec Bar Association.

Yves Usereau

 Mr. Usereau has worked as a tax expert for individuals for more than 20 years as well as in major law firms including KPMG, RCGT and Andersen. He has also taught finance and taxation at the HEC and CQFF (Québec Taxation Training Center) for the Ordre des CA du Québec. His particular expertise in taxation and his passion for resource-based financial research  position him to identify compelling private placement opportunities.

Mr. Gray is a professional exempt market dealer representative and holds a Master of Science majoring in Marine Phylogenetics and Marine Exploratory Physics from the University of Southampton, UK. Prior to transitioning into the private equity markets, Mr. Gray spent several years working in marine science positions around the world, including contracts with the government of Thailand. Mr. Gray is a specialist in private market investments, he finds tailor-made investments to fit the unique needs of his clients, and has experience with multiple asset classes, with a keen interest in pre-IPO financings and real estate limited partnerships.

Mr. Inwentash is a director and VP Investments at ThreeD, where he focuses on identifying, researching, and meeting with early stage companies in  various disruptive industries. He has a successful track record of raising capital in industries such as mining, battery recycling, organic food, high performance computing, biotechnology and blockchain. Mr. Inwentash has significant capital markets experience; he is an advisor to and a board member of several private and publicly listed companies.

Mr. MacIsaac is a recently retired IIROC Licensed Investment Advisor with 24 years of experience managing client assets, including stocks, bonds, mutual funds, ETF’s and private placements. Prior to EMD Financial, Mr. MacIsaac has worked at client-focused independent investment firms such as Midland Walwyn, Merrill Lynch, Canaccord Capital and Wellington West, concluding his career at Laurentian Bank Securities. Mr. MacIsaac graduated from Concordia University in Political Science.

Pawel Staniec

Mr. Staniec graduated from ZST Grudziadz, Computer Science Technical School in Poland with a diploma of information technology. He has previously served as a QA Analyst for Babel and Bug Tracker. Mr. Staniec provides administrative support to the EMD team.
